Hello, I’m Luci, co-founder of BnB Barrels. My husband Mav, owner of Maverick Decks and co-founder of BnB Barrels, is the talented craftsman behind our vision.

Our Health & Wellness Journey
Our journey into crafting cedar barrel saunas began shortly after welcoming our second son into our crazy yet beautiful family.
After experiencing a particularly challenging postpartum period that resulted in a significant personal struggle, I realized the necessity for a lifestyle change.
Prioritizing long-term natural solutions and addressing underlying issues, rather than simply masking symptoms, became our primary objective.
We dedicated ourselves to incorporating health and wellness practices into our daily routine, beginning with a focus on clean eating and regular exercise.
Cold Plunges & Sauna Benefits
As we learned more about the benefits of cold plunges and saunas through emerging studies and conversations, we were eager to incorporate these practices into our routine.

The undeniable health benefits we experienced with these natural therapies solidified our commitment.
How Do You Get the Benefits At Home?
However, being in the era of raising two littles under the age of two the idea of traveling daily to a sauna was not feasible for us. This kick started the desire to have our own sauna at home that was both high-quality and affordable.
Searching for Saunas
We realized we wanted our own so we could do it at home. So we began to look for a high quality sauna and cold plunge solution that didn’t break the bank.
We searched high and low and found that there was a high cost to purchase such units which then also needed to be delivered and installed.
Let’s Build Our Own!
We realized we could design and craft a replica of the exact barrel sauna we envisioned that worked perfectly.
The result was a success – a barrel sauna we were proud of from all aspects.

The success of our sauna initiated the idea that we could create high-quality, affordable saunas, delivered and installed for anyone right here in Calgary and surrounding areas.
And so, at that moment, BnB Barrels was born. Named after our two sons Bensen and Barrett, we are proud to stand behind our brand that encompasses our family values and integrity.
